Planning Engineer, Intermediate

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Planning Engineer to join our Global Consulting Business line in the in Belo Horizonte office.

About the role:

  • Develop, update, and manage project schedules across all phases (engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning);
  • Support the structuring and monitoring of S-curves (planned vs. actual) and other performance indicators (SPI, CPI, physical and financial progress);
  • Consolidate information for management reports and executive presentations;
  • Participate in the physical progress measurement process, supporting internal audits and field verifications;
  • Conduct schedule and cost variance analyses, proposing corrective and preventive actions;
  • Ensure integration between physical planning and cost control;
  • Ensure and monitor the approved budget for each project;
  • Support strategic planning of the project portfolio, including resource leveling and delivery prioritization;
  • Interface with internal and external clients, ensuring technical alignment, contractual compliance, and smooth planning communications;
  • Act in risk and opportunity management, identifying, assessing, and monitoring potential impacts on projects;
  • Ensure standardization of planning and control processes, in accordance with corporate guidelines and project management best practices (PMI);
  • Use project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Power BI, ensuring traceability and consistency of information.

About you:

  • 3 - 5 years’ minimum experience in a similar role with past responsibility in planning.
  • Previous experience in engineering consultancy or professional services related to environmental services and sustainability.
  • Completion of a university bachelor's degree in Engineering;
  • Advanced English Level
  • Software Proficiency: Primavera P6, MS Project e Power BI.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Active listening, team-oriented, and willing to share knowledge.
  • Work Style: Hands-on, dynamic, and proactive.
  • Cross-functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of multidisciplinary environments
