Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Simulation Consultant, Intermediate to join our Global Consulting Business line in the in Belo Horizonte office.

About the role 

  • Work across all phases of a project lifecycle, from early scoping and data gathering through to model development, results interpretation, and client delivery. 
  • Analyze detailed historical operating and environmental data to identify trends, map system behaviour, and extract key performance indicators necessary to calibrate dynamic simulation models for logistics systems. 
  • Build, test, and refine simulation models, ensuring they accurately represent real-world logistics operations and support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze detailed model output data, generate insightful visualizations, and quantify results that directly inform clients’ large-scale capital and logistics strategy decisions. 
  • Develop high-quality graphics and model visualizations to ensure realism, test new features, and effectively communicate complex simulation outputs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with programmers to design new features and solve complex modeling challenges within a dynamic simulation environment. 
  • Assist project managers in preparing proposals, estimating budgets and schedules, developing requests for information, reviewing technical outputs for accuracy, presenting results, and contributing to client deliverables.
  • Engage with clients and other internal technical disciplines throughout the project lifecycle, building strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills while helping shape logistics strategy in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces.

About you 

  • 2-5 years’ minimum experience in a similar role with experience in simulation, logistics, supply chain, or a related analytical field.
  • Possess a quantitative undergraduate or master’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another engineering/logistics operations discipline.
  • Demonstrate the ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty, structuring complex, ill-defined problems into clear project methodologies that answer key questions driving logistics and business strategy.
  • Have a strong interest in applying simulation to logistics systems and operational strategy development.
  • Quickly grasp technical concepts, work through complex logical problems, and apply knowledge in a hands-on, model-driven environment.
  • Are motivated to contribute to a high-performing, collaborative project team.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Being comfortable working in multidisciplinary and international environments, collaborating effectively across diverse cultures.
  • Bring strong analytical experience using MS Excel and data analysis.
  • Have experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Have experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, VBA).
  • Have exposure to software development in Java (or similar object-oriented languages).
  • Are fluent in Portuguese and English (required); Spanish is a strong asset for supporting collaboration with regional stakeholders and clients.
