Planning Analyst, Junior

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Planning Analyst, Junior to join our Global Consulting Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.

About the role: 

  • Financial Oversight and Budget Management: Monitoring project budgets, tracking expenditures, forecasting costs, and ensuring the project stays within financial constraints. This involves cost analysis, risk assessment related to finances, and preparing financial reports to keep stakeholders informed
  • Project Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly assessing project progress against schedules and milestones, using KPIs and periodic reviews. Preparing detailed progress reports and recommending corrective actions to keep the project on track.
  • Schedule and Resource Coordination: Collaborating with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring resource allocation aligns with project needs, and adjusting timelines as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Data and Documentation Management: Establishing and maintaining data structures for decision-making and reporting, ensuring document control so that all team members have access to accurate and up-to-date project information.
  • Risk and Change Management: Identifying potential risks, performing cost risk analysis, and developing mitigation strategies. Overseeing change management processes to integrate new technologies or processes without disrupting project flow.
  • Team and Stakeholder Coordination: Managing and coordinating project teams, resolving conflicts, providing coaching and guidance to junior members, and liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and contract compliance.
    • Project Closeout: Ensuring all project deliverables are met, financials are reconciled, and the project is successfully concluded according to agreed standards and requirements.

About you:

  • Completed or ongoing Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering

  • Specialization Course: MBA, AACE and/or PMI related – not mandatory but desirable

  • Project Set Up and Closure

  • Estimating and Cost Control

  • Contracts Administration

  • Planning, Scheduling and Progress Control

  • Manage of Control Accounts such contingency or provision
