Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Designer to join our team in our Brisbane office.
About the role
Prepare layouts and detail drawings in line with project requirements
Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards, preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements
Overcome design/schedule issues by maintaining an overview of activity, communicating with the Lead Mechanical Engineer and communicating issues in a timely manner
Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standards
Comply with all of Ausenco corporate policies and procedures by adopting Ausenco Quality Assurance and Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies, procedures and requirements
About you
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Bulk Materials Handling design drafting and plant layout experience with crushing, grinding, materials handling, flotation, CIL/CIP, slurry, pumping, slurry agitation, particle size classification and separation would also be highly regarded
Advance diploma or equivalent in Engineering is desirable.
Experience with Advance Steel and S3D software desired
Strong written and oral communication skills
