Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer, Specialist – Technical Lead to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte office.

About the role:

• This role provides strategic and technical leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that electrical engineering solutions are safe, efficient, compliant, and aligned with both local and global standards. The successful candidate will act as the key technical reference for multidisciplinary teams, supporting critical decision-making, resolving complex engineering challenges, and fostering the continuous development of technical capabilities within the organization.
• As part of a global engineering environment, this position will work closely with technical specialists across multiple regions to promote consistency, knowledge sharing, and best practices while ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions for complex industrial projects.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Postgraduate qualification or specialization is desirable).
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical engineering, including technical leadership responsibilities in large-scale industrial, mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience in engineering consultancy or professional services environment.
• Deep and up-to-date knowledge of Brazilian technical standards (NBR) and international standards (ANSI, ISO, IEC).
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary engineering projects and complex technical problem-solving.
• Experience working in global or multicultural environments and collaborating with international teams.
• Advanced English level (Spanish is desirable).
• Strong knowledge of BIM methodologies and digital engineering practices.
• Collaboration & Communication: Active listening, team-oriented, and willing to share knowledge.
• Work Style: Hands-on, dynamic, and proactive.
• Cross-functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of multidisciplinary environments.
