Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Hydrogeologist Engineer, Junior to join our Earth & Environment Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.

About the role: 

• Develop conceptual and numerical hydrogeological models, hydrogeotechnical studies, slope stability, hydrogeochemical studies, water balance, preparation of technical reports related to water resources; climate change studies, water monitoring plans, mine closure studies, etc. Various fieldwork activities related to the area.

About you: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related fields (active professional license - CREA - required)

• Experience in consultancy projects in hydrogeology, geotechnics, and water resources for mining operations

• Knowledge of hydrogeological modeling software (e.g., Modflow, Feflow, GW Vistas) and geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog)

• Experience in database development and management

• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python) and R, as well as a proactive approach to innovation, will be considered an asset

• Advanced English

• Spanish is a plus
