Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Designer to join our team in our Brisbane office.

About the role

• Prepare layouts and detail drawings in line with project requirements 
• Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards, preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements 
• Overcome design/schedule issues by maintaining an overview of activity, communicating with the Lead Mechanical Engineer and communicating issues in a timely manner 
• Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standards
• Comply with all of Ausenco corporate policies and procedures by adopting Ausenco Quality Assurance and Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies, procedures and requirements

About you

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Bulk Materials Handling design drafting and plant layout experience with crushing, grinding, materials handling, flotation, CIL/CIP, slurry, pumping, slurry agitation, particle size classification and separation would also be highly regarded 
• Advance diploma or equivalent in Engineering is desirable.
• Experience with Advance Steel and S3D software desired
• Strong written and oral communication skills
