Our team in Canada is growing. We are recruiting for a Senior Operational Readiness Consultant to join our Asset Optimization Team his opportunity is available in multiple locations, including GTA, Vancouver, or Calgary. 

About the role:

In your role, you will have the opportunity to take on a wide variety of tasks. Some examples are to:

  • Plan and deliver Operational Readiness services through each phase of project development.
  • Understand client’s organisational objectives and translate into technical and financial decisions, plans, and objectives.
  • Transition projects through each stage of Operational Readiness; including strategy development, detailed planning, execution, and operational handover to Owner/ Operator.
  • Effectively support Client operations beyond the project phase through cross-selling of Asset Optimisation services and performance enhancement activities.
  • Leverage opportunities to expand project scope wherever possible.
  • Prepare and manage proposals and budgets, delegating work as required to achieve outcomes.
  • Lead and oversee the development and approval of work schedules to ensure that objectives of cost, quality and time are met.
  • Develop balanced and productive project teams by providing leadership and guidance to the project team members.
  • Incorporate health and safety awareness as part of all program/project activities and work priorities; attend safety meetings, identify risks and participate in HSEC training and initiatives

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in applied science or engineering (or international equivalent).
  • 10-15+ years experience working in Mining Operations, project development or similar environment.
  • Proven experience specifically in Operational Readiness, ideally executing Greenfield or Brownfield projects within the Mining Industry.
  • Experience with organizational design, resourcing requirements, asset management processes, change management, risk management, and procedure development.
  • Exceptional ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for business.

Salary range: $135,000 – $170,000   annually

Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role
