Our team in Belo Horizonte is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Piping Engineer to join our Mineral & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.

About the role:

• The candidate must have a minimum of 8–10 years of experience as a piping and systems engineer, developing engineering projects in the areas of extraction, beneficiation, and storage within the oil and gas, mining, chemical, or petrochemical sectors.

• Performing calculations for sizing utility systems (compressed air, water, cooling water, air conditioning, dust suppression, and sprinkling systems).

• Conducting water and compressed air balance analysis.

• Selecting and sizing equipment for utility systems (compressors, water tanks, air receivers, chillers, cooling towers, etc.).

• Performing hydraulic transient calculations, flexibility analysis, and piping support design.

• Conducting mechanical piping sizing and engineering flowchart development for utilities.

• Preparing technical reports and drawings.

• Overseeing construction works to ensure proper execution and service progress.

• Monitoring project development in the area, preparing quantity spreadsheets, and interfacing with clients and other disciplines.

• Required software expertise: Calculation Spreadsheets; AFT Fathom; AFT Impulse; AutoCAD; AutoCAD Plant 3D; CAESAR II

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience as a piping and systems engineer in engineering projects related to extraction, beneficiation, and storage in oil and gas, mining, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
• Strong interpersonal skills and technical expertise.
• Team leadership capabilities.
• Dynamic and efficient problem-solving skills.
• Advanced English.
• Intermediate Spanish.
• Proficiency in intermediate Office Suite.
• Intermediate AutoCAD/Volo View skills.
