Environmental Equipment Technician

Our team in Canada is growing, we are currently recruiting for an Environmental Equipment Technician to join our Sustainability Business line in the in our Burnaby office.

 

About the role

Your primary duties will be to order, operate, maintain, and repair environmental testing equipment; and procure and coordinate environmental supplies for project teams.

Other tasks include:

  • Performing and documenting setup, maintenance, repair, and calibration of field work equipment
  • Procurement and coordination of internal and supplier equipment
  • Procure, coordinate, organize and order equipment, consumable, spare parts, and consumables inventory
  • Providing urgent assistance for equipment failures and requests
  • Coordinate and follow up subcontracted repair, maintenance and calibration of specialized equipment.
  • Equipment room management and maintenance

 

About you

  • Mechanical aptitude, with a Technical Diploma in environmental technology is an asset
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A willingness to work in a team environment; and the capability and willingness to train and mentor staff
  • Consistency and strong multi-tasking ability
  • Self starter
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000

Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
