Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Instrumentation Designer, Senior/Master to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the Belo Horizonte office.

About the role 

• Develop engineering documents for instrumentation and automation.
• Prepare and review interconnection diagrams, I/O lists, specifications, and datasheets in compliance with project standards and applicable regulations.
• Produce basic and detailed engineering packages for the discipline.
•  
  Deliver end‑to‑end solutions for instrumentation, automation, and telecommunications systems, from concept to final documentation.
• Coordinate discipline integration with electrical, process, mechanical, civil, and IT teams.
• Define and review technical specifications for instruments, systems, networks, and equipment.
• Support the selection of instruments, panels, cables, and automation components, ensuring performance, safety, and standardization.
• Provide field support, including inspections, testing, commissioning, start‑up activities, and technical issue resolution.

About you 

• +8 years’ minimum experience in a similar role with past responsibility for operations/project management in a complex department/division/organization.
• Previous experience in engineering consultancy or professional services.
• Previous experience in industrial instrumentation and automation, including developing and reviewing control and supervision solutions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical documents (interconnection diagrams, instrument/I/O lists, datasheets, and automation network documentation).
• Experience working with multidisciplinary interfaces (electrical, process, mechanical, civil, telecom) to ensure project alignment.
• Solid knowledge of applicable standards and best practices in instrumentation, automation, telecom, and functional safety.
• Ability to support field activities such as commissioning, testing, start‑up, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Software Proficiency: BIM methodology, AutoCad, Volo View, Revit, NavisWorks, Plant3D, SCADA and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Collaboration & Communication: Active listening, team-oriented, and willing to share knowledge.
• Work Style: Hands-on, dynamic, and proactive.
  Cross-functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of multidisciplinary environments.
