Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Junior Electrical Designer to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte office.

About the role:

  • Work on engineering projects during the conceptual, basic and detailed phases in the discipline of electrical design.

  • Design electrical room layouts, including equipment sizing and arrangement.

  • Develop grounding and lightning‑protection systems.

  • Design power‑distribution and control systems, including conduit and cable‑tray sizing and basic cable routing.

  • Prepare cable schedules for installation and detailed cable‑cutting plans.

  • Compile material take‑off lists to support assembly and procurement.

  • Develop typical installation details for grounding, lightning protection, lighting, power, control and instrumentation systems.

  • Design overhead power‑distribution networks and instrument‑installation frameworks.

  • Interface with other disciplines (civil/structural, mechanical, instrumentation & control) to ensure seamless system integration.

  • Analyze vendor drawings and provide technical support for on‑site implementation.

About you:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Dialux.

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Comfortable keeping up with technological innovations and emerging trends in the energy sector.

  • Skilled in integrating renewable energy sources and modernizing electrical infrastructure.

  • Able to adapt to dynamic environments requiring continuous learning and innovative problem solving.
