Junior Public Relations Officer (PRO) – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

  • Riyadh, Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia
Ver favoritos

If you’re like us, you don’t have much time for the way things are.

Ausenco is a global company redefining what’s possible. Our team is based across 22 offices in 9 countries, with projects in over 80 locations worldwide. Combining our deep technical expertise with a 30-year track record, we deliver innovative, value-add consulting studies, project delivery, asset operations and maintenance solutions to the mining & metals, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.

We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Junior Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

About the role

Government Liaison & Compliance

  • Process visas, work permits, Iqama issuance/renewals, transfers, exit/re-entry, final exit procedures, and other immigration-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with ministries such as:
    • Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
    • Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
    • General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat).
  • Track regulatory changes and ensure company compliance.
  • Handle document attestation, notarization, and official submissions.

Government Platforms

  • Experience or familiarity with: Qiwa, Absher, Muqeem, GOSI.
  • Using online platforms like Absher Business and Mudad to process employee records.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate records of employee documentation and government transactions.
  • Monitor deadlines—missed renewals can result in fines, and accountability tends to fall on this role.
  • Assist HR and legal teams with compliance-related paperwork.
  • Ensuring company adherence to Saudi labor laws, Saudization regulations, and keeping business licenses/commercial registrations updated.

External Communications

  • Support basic corporate communications (letters, official correspondence, Arabic translations if applicable).
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings with government officials or external stakeholders.
  • Assist in organizing company participation in local events or exhibitions (execution-heavy, not strategic).

Internal Coordination

  • Act as a bridge between HR, legal, and project teams for regulatory matters.
  • Follow up relentlessly—delays are common, and progress often depends on persistence rather than process efficiency.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a PRO, administrative, or government relations role in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Internship experience in Saudi Arabia is helpful.
  • Familiarity with Saudi government portals (e.g., Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail with documentation and deadlines.
  • Fluent in Arabic. English proficiency is required.
  • Patience and persistence.
  • Ability to work under pressure when issues escalate.
  • Proactive and highly organized.
  • Strong understanding of the labour laws in Saudi Arabia.
  • Frequent travel to government offices across Riyadh.
  • Time-sensitive tasks with little margin for error.
  • Minimal compliance violations or penalties.
  • On-time processing of all employee documentation.
  • Ability to navigate government systems independently within 3–6 months.
  • Building working relationships that reduce friction over time (though this is never guaranteed)
  • Work may extend beyond standard hours during peak periods (visa processing cycles, audits, etc.).
  • Saudi drivers license is mandatory.

We’re committed to a fair and human hiring process. All applications are reviewed by a member of our team and are not automatically screened or rejected by AI.
