As a result of awarded work, our team is growing. We are currently recruiting for a Lead Structural/Concrete Designer to join our design team in our Perth office.

 

About the role

  • Deliver S3D and/or Advance Steel Structural/Concrete/Platework specialist knowledge and supervision of project design team while working on deliverables
  • Checking of Structural/Concrete/Platework models and detail drawings.
  • Prepare and review layouts and detail drawings in line with project requirements
  • Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards by coordinating and supervising project members, reviewing deliverables and preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements 
  • Overcome design/schedule issues by maintaining an overview of activity, communicating with the Lead Structural Engineer and addressing issues in a timely manner 

 

About you

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Structural, Concrete and Platework design drafting 
  • Demonstrated design plant layout experience with crushing, grinding, materials handling, flotation, CIL/CIP, slurry, pumping, slurry agitation, particle size classification and separation would be highly regarded 
  • Advance diploma or equivalent in Engineering is desirable.
  • Extensive experience with Smart Plant3D, SPF administration is highly desirable
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
