We are looking for a Mechanical EIT to join our Minerals and Metals division in our Burlington office to support recent business success and growth.

About the role

• Supporting senior engineers in preliminary and detailed design of materials handling equipment including conveyors, transfers and chutes, handling a variety of bulk materials.
• Performing calculations for design of material handling system.
• Support senior engineers in guiding mechanical designers to produce technical drawings to layout and communicate technical requirements to contractors for construction.
• Execute and deliver projects in varying size and complexity in local, national and international locations.
• Prepare technical specifications, documents and reports as needed for the project.

About you

• A university degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of 2D design/drafting software (AutoCAD or similar) and 3D design / drafting software (Solidworks or similar).
• Up to 3 years’ experience working in mechanical engineering, preference for experience within consulting engineering company environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience preparing reports and drawings.
• The ability to meet the challenge of tight deadlines and providing exceptional service to our clients is a must.
