Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Portfolio Manager to join our team in our Brisbane office.

About the role

  • Oversee a portfolio of projects within the Minerals and Metals industry across studies (greenfield & brownfield), sustaining capital works, and projects specific to design, FEED and EP.
  • Expand our pipeline of studies, brownfield and sustaining capital projects, through strategic planning, client engagement, proposal development and award.
  • Develop and maintain a strategy for growing our project portfolio with particular focus on sustaining capital and brownfield development in the APAC region
  • Ensure delivery of projects through either direct project management or direct oversight, in accordance with contractual commitments and governance and in doing so ensure a sustainable, profitable business operates in the region.
  • Functional management of team of > 20 direct reports


About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or relevant field
  • Extensive experience in Project Management with an engineering company or on an owner’s team for complex heavy process industry projects
  • Proven experience in the successful execution of a range of projects varying in size, complexity and geographical location
  • Prior experience with copper, gold, nickel or base metals projects is highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated leadership and client management skills
  • Strong deliverable focus with ability to provide operational oversight to broader project teams
