Process Engineer, Senior

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Process Engineer, Senior to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.

About the role:

The engineer will be responsible for leading projects in the Mineral Processing area, as well as serving as a reference point for team development. They will carry out equipment sizing, optimize/define process routes, evaluate metallurgical process data and laboratory test results, and review discipline standards.

About you:

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Mining Engineering;

  • Experience with mining projects in the study, conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering phases;
  • Experience with precious and base metals;

  • Experience with equipment sizing and process simulations (Bruno, JKSimMet, Metsim) is a plus;

  • Knowledge of gold and copper commodities;

  • Experience in project development;

  • 10 years of experience in the field;

  • Advanced English;

  • Spanish is considered a plus;

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
