Our team in Chile is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Project Control, Senior to join our GC Business line in the in Santiago office.

About the role:

  • Work in accordance with Ausenco’s values and demonstrate commitment, active involvement and leadership regarding safety, environment, sustainability, client, people and financial accountabilities.
  • Understand accountabilities and demonstrate an understanding of relevant health, safety, environment and community requirements, and including hazard management, to conduct all activities and behave in a responsible manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring all incidents witnessed or involved in, including near misses, are reported to HSEC Management.
  • Participate in HSEC training and inductions to be familiarized with all required Regulations and Standards.
  • Support development and maintenance of schedules and reports
  • Assist in progress tracking, change management and reporting
  • Maintain project files and documentation plans
  • Collaborate in updating timesheets, project backlog, and cost reports
  • Collaborate effectively with PMs, leads, and peers. Know when to ask for help and how to contribute as part of a team. Participate in knowledge-sharing and training opportunities.
  • Be aware of project budgets and support PMs in identifying deviations. Contribute to resource planning and schedule alignment with financial goals.
  • Comply with all relevant Ausenco´s policies and procedures and work within legal and regulatory frameworks.

About you:

Formal Education

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (or international equivalent).
  •  Postgraduate studies and/or certifications in Project Management or Project Controls are highly valued.
  •  Registration with a relevant Engineering Council or Project Management association is desirable but not mandatory.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance monitoring methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities in complex project environments.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Proven track record working effectively in multidisciplinary teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
  • Strong experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, or similar project control and business intelligence tools. 

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in project control, project management, or related roles within engineering, construction, mining, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Control Manager or in senior project control leadership positions.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multidisciplinary projects with responsibilities including schedule and cost control, performance monitoring, reporting, and team leadership.
