We are actively expanding our talented team to support this momentum, and we’re excited to be recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our growing project execution team.

About the role

• Help manage office or onsite activities to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time, to budget and in accordance with Ausenco’s objectives.
• Ensure that the project runs according to project plans with appropriately skilled staff are available at the required times to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and technical support personnel in completing the assigned scope.
• Drive the delivery of assigned project work in accordance with the project schedule and the project budget.
• Managing effectively scope changes and trends – actively identify quantity, cost and time trends and management of the change process.
• Maintain a professional and functional relationship with client personnel.
• Demonstrate unwavering dedication to safety and proven ability to achieve deadlines.

About you

• Engineering degree from a recognised tertiary institute or equivalent experience
• Proven experience working in mining and minerals projects, ideally execution of mineral processing plants
• Minimum 3 years EPCM/EPC experience including supervision of contractors and field personnel will be looked upon favorably
• Substantial exposure to project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating and reporting.
• Outstanding communication skill and ability to develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to site as required
