Our Mine Waste team is growing and we looking to hire a Project Engineer in our office in Denver. Working alongside senior technical leaders and project managers, you will contribute to project execution, client service, technical analyses, and team collaboration across multidisciplinary projects.

About the role:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of multidisciplinary and mining-related projects.
  • Assist Project Managers in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
  • Coordinate technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, civil, water resources, environmental, and mining specialists.
  • Contribute to project proposals, cost estimates, and business development initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Support project risk management and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in consulting engineering, construction, mining, or infrastructure projects.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E. or EIT progressing toward designation).
  • Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
  • Interest in developing project management, leadership, and client relationship skills.
  • Experience supporting mining, tailings management, heavy civil, energy, or industrial projects is considered an asset.
  • Spanish language proficiency is considered an asset.

Salary range:USD $88,000 – $106,000 per year

Salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
