Senior HSE Technician

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior HSE Technician to join our HSE Team in São Paulo.

About the role:

  • Conduct field safety inspections, identifying risks and proposing corrective and preventive measures;
  • Monitor critical activities such as working at heights, confined spaces, excavations, and load handling, among others, ensuring compliance with safety procedures;
  • Participate in the preparation and review of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Work Permits (PT);
  • Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks (DDS), promoting employee awareness;
  • Support investigations of incidents and near-misses, contributing to root cause identification and improvement actions;
  • Control and inspect personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protection equipment (CPE), ensuring suitability and proper use;
  • Maintain updated records of inspections, training sessions, occurrences, and safety indicators;
  • Interact with multidisciplinary and contracted teams, fostering an integrated safety culture within the project;
  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory Standards (NRs) and other applicable legislation.

About you:

  • Completed Technical Degree in Occupational Safety.
  • Active registration with the Ministry of Labor (MTE).
  • Previous experience in Greenfield and/or Brownfield projects.
  • Knowledge of applicable Regulatory Standards (NRs), especially NR-18, NR-33, NR-35, NR-10, among others.
  • Ability to work on-site and manage Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) processes with a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
