Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for and we are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join us in our Belo Horizonte office. 

About the role

• Coordinate and execute Planning and Control activities at Ausenco Brasil, focusing on EPCM projects, including process adaptation, composition and management of teams allocated to the office and project locations, according to Ausenco Brasil, SoAm and global demand.
• Prepare and manage Project Planning, including execution plan (PEP, attack plan), integrated project schedule, physical-financial monitoring curves (“S” curves), labor and equipment histograms, organizational charts, performance indicators (“KPIs”), Supply plans, risk analysis, among others.
• Prepare progress reports, Daily Work Reports (“RODs”), presentations, meeting minutes, critical analyses, deviation analyses, action plans, letters, notifications, claims and counterclaims, among others.
• Collaborate in the comprehensive management of projects, including scope, costs, deadlines, safety, quality, risks, interfaces, etc.
• Perform and analyze measurements of services performed.
• Monitor project costs in relation to the budget, using management techniques such as baselines, trends, added value, and contingency management.
• Manage risks and changes in processes under your responsibility.
• Interact locally and globally with related areas of Ausenco to achieve the goals of your area.
• Ensure strict compliance with Ausenco’s compliance and governance standards, legislation, and clients, defining control and audit measures.
• Collaborate with the commercial area, participating in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for the Project Execution, M&M, and Consulting areas.

About you

• The right candidates will have a degree in  Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in planning and control for large-scale capital projects in mining, steel and infrastructure.
• Experience in managing project planning in EPCM/EPC format.
• Knowledge of FEL methodology or similar for development and implementation of capital projects.
• Specialization in Project Management is desirable.
• Knowledge of Hexagon software (Ecosys, Smart Materials, Smart Completions) would be an advantage.
