We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who thrives on building strong relationships, working closely with business leaders to understand their resourcing needs, and taking a proactive approach to finding the right talent. In this role, you’ll balance results-driven recruitment with an outstanding candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects Ausenco values and culture.

This role can be based in Ausenco’s Tucson or Denver office, with flexibility to work some days from home.

About the role

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process from crafting engaging job postings and sourcing top talent, to guiding candidates through interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Partner with leaders to anticipate hiring needs and design recruitment strategies that align with both project priorities and Ausenco’s culture.
  • Proactively build and nurture talent pipelines, ensuring we’re always ready for upcoming opportunities.
  • Use creative sourcing approaches and new channels to reach both active and passive candidates.
  • Represent Ausenco as an employer of choice, delivering a professional, transparent, and supportive candidate experience at every stage.

About you

  • Three plus years’ full cycle recruiting experience, including experience in recruiting technical engineering roles, ideally within a mining, construction, or consulting engineering environment.
  • Strong relationship building skills (internal and external), highly flexible, proactive and results oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and requisitions.
  • Able to handle sensitive information with discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking – demonstrated use of logic and reason as well as creative and strategic thinking.
  • Demonstrated capacity for attention to detail and accuracy of work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively or independently as required.
  • Bonus points if you speak Spanish!
