We have an excellent opportunity for a Asset Management Consultant to join our team based in South Brisbane.  This role would be suited to someone with proven experience in Asset Management, Reliability and Maintenance engineering in the mining and resources sector. 

About the role

  • Support the project team in maintaining positive client relationships by assisting with stakeholder communication and coordination.
  • Help gather information to understand client needs and support senior team members in defining project scope.
  • Assist in the delivery of asset management project tasks under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Contribute to identifying potential improvements by collecting data, observations, and feedback for review by senior team members.
  • Assist leaders with organising resource requirements by preparing schedules, updating trackers, and coordinating basic administrative tasks.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, tenders, expressions of interest, and presentations by compiling documents, formatting content, and ensuring accuracy.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience working within mining operations or a similar heavy‑industry environment, with increasing responsibility over the past four years.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (or an equivalent discipline), with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical industry challenges.
  • Previous exposure to Asset Management, Maintenance, or Reliability Engineering, with growing capability to contribute to related project work and improvement initiatives.
  • Working understanding of asset management frameworks and standards such as ISO 55000, with the ability to interpret and apply them under guidance.
  • Hands‑on experience using CMMS/ERP systems such as SAP, Pronto, Maximo, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Developing technical expertise with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues, analyse data, and support the development of practical solutions.
