Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Comissioning Engineer, Senior to support an EPCM project in the São Miguel Paulista (SP) region, within our Minerals and Metals Business line.

About the role:

• Responsible for leading and executing commissioning activities for complex industrial projects (EPC/EPCM), ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety requirements, schedules, and contractual deliverables. This role oversees all commissioning phases, from planning and strategy definition to execution, start-up, and handover, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and acting as the technical focal point between engineering, construction, operations, and client.
• The position includes developing commissioning plans, defining system/subsystem execution strategies, supervising pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in the field, managing technical documentation and test protocols, and ensuring the integrity and traceability of all records. The professional will also support system start-up, operational stabilization, and client handover, contributing to safe and efficient project delivery.

About you:

• +10 years’ experience in commissioning for industrial projects, with strong involvement in field execution environments (EPC/EPCM).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related fields).
• Solid experience in commissioning planning and execution, including Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-up.
• Strong knowledge of technical standards, commissioning procedures, and best practices.
• Proven experience coordinating field activities and resolving technical issues during testing and start-up phases.
• Experience managing and supervising testing activities, including: Mechanical Completion inspections; Functional testing (FAT/SAT, when applicable); System energization; Loop checks and control system testing; Cold and Hot Commissioning.
• Experience with commissioning documentation management, including procedures, reports, dossiers, and punch list tracking.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements, including risk mitigation and energy isolation practices (Lockout/Tagout).
• Experience working in multidisciplinary environments, acting as an interface between Engineering, Construction, Operations, and Clients.
• English proficiency (intermediate to advanced).
• Software proficiency: Experience with commissioning management systems (HMS Web.COM is desirable).
