Conduct detailed engineering analysis, design, and reporting for projects involving tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and other mine infrastructure.
Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and project documentation to support client needs and project milestones.
Oversee and lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective collaboration across engineering, design, and construction phases.
Manage the preparation of design drawings and specifications, from initial scoping studies through to detailed design and construction phases.
Develop accurate and comprehensive engineering and construction cost estimates to support project budgeting and planning.
Collaborate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring timely and successful project execution.
Travel to client sites within Canada and internationally to support project activities and client relationships.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
4-7+ years’ experience working with an engineering consulting firm or similar environment; construction, with a Professional Engineer (PE) certification being a valuable asset.
A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is preferred.
Proven experience in the design of tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and related mine infrastructure.
Expertise in dam stability analysis, water management, and civil design principles.
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
Basic knowledge of hydraulic modeling software’s, such as, HEC-RAS or IBER.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and clients. Spanish skills will be an asset.
