Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Junior Piping Designer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.

About the role:

• The professional will be responsible for developing engineering projects with a focus on piping discipline, in compliance with national and international standards, technical specifications, and legislation, ensuring the operationality, quality, and safety of the final product. The professional should have expertise in industrial plants in mining, oil and gas, steelmaking, and chemicals.

About you:

• Experience with conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering development in industrial piping;
• 2–3 years of experience in the field;
• Experience with projects in mining, oil and gas, chemical, or petrochemical plants;
• Knowledge of developing technical project documentation, such as piping plans, isometrics, MTO, material lists, engineering flow diagrams, supports, calculations, and reports;
• Ensure the documentation is in accordance with the company’s adopted standards, procedures, and codes;
• Knowledge in developing projects using 3D platforms, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Smartplant;
• Familiarity with national and international standards such as: AWS D1.1, ABNT, ASME/ANSI B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME VIII DIV I, II, and III, API 610, API 661, API 650, API 560, NEMA 23, etc.
