As our pipeline of work continues to grow, we're looking for a Lead Procurement Officer to join our team in our Perth office on St Georges Terrace. 

As a Lead Procurement Officer, you'll play a key role in leading procurement activities across a portfolio of major EPCM projects, supporting project delivery teams and driving best-practice procurement outcomes. 

In this role, you will:

• Lead a team responsible for delivering strategic procurement outcomes, negotiating best value, and supporting project execution objectives.
• Manage the procurement of machinery, equipment, and services for EPCM projects, ensuring compliance with procurement schedules, bidders list, package strategies, and project requirements.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Contracts and Commercial teams to support effective supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to procurement team members, delegating responsibilities and supporting professional development.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of procurement systems, tools, and processes to drive continuous improvement.
• Support major international project delivery initiatives, including collaboration with globally integrated project teams spanning multiple regions and time zones. 

About You 

You are an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in EPCM project delivery and a passion for building productive supplier and stakeholder relationships. 

You'll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline (highly regarded but not mandatory).
• Extensive experience leading procurement activities within EPC and/or EPCM environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• High proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & Word.
• Experience using Hexagon ERP systems, with SmartPlant Materials experience highly regarded.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within the mining and minerals sector, which will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to lead supplier and contractor negotiations, working collaboratively with Finance, Legal, Tax, and Project teams to finalize commercial terms and conditions.
