Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Planning Control Engineer, Junior to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in São Paulo.

About the role:

We are seeking a Junior Planning Engineer to work on EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management) projects, with a focus on project physical progress control. This professional will be responsible for supporting the preparation, updating, and monitoring of the physical progress of activities, ensuring adherence to the schedule and established standards.

  • Develop and maintain detailed physical schedules aligned with the project disciplines.

  • Monitor and consolidate physical progress across engineering, procurement, and construction areas.

  • Prepare S-curves, histograms, and physical progress reports for management and the client.

  • Perform variance and trend analyses, proposing corrective actions.

  • Ensure the integrity and consistency of data reported in corporate systems.

  • Participate in progress meetings and provide technical support for decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with standards, internal procedures, and contractual requirements.

About you:

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields)

  • Solid experience in physical planning of EPCM projects (minimum of 3 years)

  • Proficiency in planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)

  • Advanced Excel skills (charts, pivot tables, formulas)

  • Knowledge of physical progress control, progress curves, and performance indicators

  • Intermediate/advanced English (desirable)

  • PMP certification or similar will be considered a plus

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Note on the nature of the contract:
This is a permanent position, initially assigned to a strategic project with an expected duration of approximately two years. While the initial assignment is directly related to this project, there is a possibility of extension or reassignment to other future initiatives, depending on company needs and the professional’s performance.
