Our team is growing, and we are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our team in our Brisbane office.  You will take ownership of the successful delivery of complex projects from initiation through to completion. Your key responsibilities will include:

 

About the role

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver multiple, concurrent brownfield studies (scoping, PFS, or FS), through to basic and detailed engineering projects varying in size and complexity.
  • Build effective relationships with clients on assigned studies/projects, contributing to repeat work and business growth
  • Where required, perform the role of project engineer to coordinate and integrate the various engineering disciplines.
  • Maintain a consistently high quality of output by planning, coordinating, managing resources, technical quality, and study/project progress.
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise needed to achieve quality outcomes while ensuring client’s needs are always met.
  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Formulate effective business cases through bringing together technical knowledge and commercial concepts
  • Lead the generation of proposals for new studies/projects.

 

About you

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Demonstrated experienced in a Study Manager or Project Manager role within the Mining, Oil & Gas, and/or Infrastructure industry.
  • An understanding of the operation of a multidiscipline engineering and construction company.
  • Extensive experience in the development and delivery of studies and projects
  • A proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously or a single project of major size and scope.
  • Experience in planning, budgeting and reporting
  • Excellent written technical and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, client relationship and management skills
  • Site experience preferred
