Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Expeditor to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in São Paulo.
About the role:
Plays a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to support project or production schedules.
Coordinates closely with suppliers, procurement, logistics, and project teams to:
Track progress
Resolve delays
Ensure compliance with delivery requirements and quality standards
Maintains proactive communication to avoid disruptions and ensure workflow efficiency.
Monitors critical items to prevent bottlenecks.
Prepares detailed status reports for stakeholders.
Escalates risks when necessary to maintain project timelines.
About you:
10+ years in expediting, logistics, or supply chain, preferably in industrial sectors such as Mining, Steel, Oil & Gas, EPC, or Manufacturing.
Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Knowledge of Incoterms.
Experience with national and international logistics and vendor follow-up.
Strong coordination, negotiation, and issue-resolution skills to manage supplier performance and critical delivery timelines.
Organized and proactive.
Good oral fluency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint preparation.
Note on the nature of the contract:
This is a permanent position, initially assigned to a strategic project with an expected duration of approximately two years. While the initial assignment is directly related to this project, there is a possibility of extension or reassignment to other future initiatives, depending on company needs and the professional’s performance.
