We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Controller to join our Minerals & Metals business line in Execution Services. This role has North American-wide responsibility. The Senior Project Controller will be a part of the Execution Services team that supports the Minerals & Metals division. This team ensures that all project procedures and systems are in place to effectively deliver projects, provides subject matter expertise through the project lifecycle, may support the set-up and delivery of a project and provides an executive governance role over the projects. This role will report to the Execution Services – Project Controls Director. This is an exciting opportunity to be apart of a great team of experts that will continue to bring best practices into the business.

About the Role

The primary functions will be to:

• Assist in updating the existing procedures, standards and templates in line with system updates.
• Develop best practices utilising the project delivery systems.
• Support the development of reporting dashboards (PowerBI)
• Assist project controls teams in training, set-up and delivery of new projects
• Contribute to project controls governance reviews.

About you 

• Degree or diploma in engineering, project management, business administration, and/or finance.
• 8 - 15 years’ experience in multi-disciplinary projects, home office and construction.
• Relevant experience in EPC or EPCM environment.
• Experience in using project delivery systems eg, Oracle, Ecosys, P6, Hexagon, PRISM, PowerBI and the understanding data interfaces is essential.
• Have lead or been involved in the full lifecycle of the controls management on reimbursable projects.
• Understand the requirements of project controls management utilising work breakdown structures within multiple systems to support data management interfaces eg. cost & progress control (EcoSys, PRISM), scheduling (P6), procurement & contracts), construction management etc
• Well versed in all aspects of project controls, progress monitoring to plan, cost & commitment tracking, resource planning, cash flow reporting, change management, project analytics, management of site construction costs, project forecasting  etc
• Experience in the development and implementation of new systems.
• Experience in the development and updates of controls procedures, templates and work instructions.
• Experience in implementing controls-reporting dashboards using PowerBI to support the delivery of projects.
• Experience in preparing monthly/weekly project status reports contributing to the details on project deviations and mitigation plans.

Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually 

Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
