Our team in Sustainability is growing; we are currently recruiting for a Sustainability Coordinator to join for an exciting project. This is a site-based role that provides strong exposure to cross-functional teams and can lead to future international assignments within the organization. This role can be based in Ontario, preferably, though we are open to considering other locations.

About the role:

  • Implement the Sustainability Management Plan across all construction activities.
  • Oversee contractor compliance with environmental and social requirements.
  • Conduct regular field inspections and sample collection (water quality, waste, erosion control, wildlife, etc.).
  • Support development and updates of environmental and social management plans.
  • Assist with incident response, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Identify and track environmental and social risks during construction.
  • Contribute sustainability criteria to tender evaluations and contractor reviews.
  • Prepare concise weekly and monthly sustainability updates.

About You:

  • Degree/diploma in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
  • Experience in construction, mining, or major infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Strong field inspection and reporting skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental monitoring preferred
  • Knowledge of environmental permitting and management plans.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced project environment.

Salary range: $85,000 – $110,00  annually.

Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
