Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a T&L Designer, Senior to join our Consulting Business line.

About the role: 

• Review and prepare complex layouts and detail drawings in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate project designers.
• Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards by coordinating and supervising project members, reviewing deliverables and preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements.
• Overcome design/schedule issues by maintaining an overview of activity, communicating with the Principal Engineer and communicating issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standards.
• Ability to take initiative with designs and layouts based on your knowledge of material handling systems and equipment as well as project parameters to develop concepts and detailed designs.
• Comply with all Ausenco corporate policies and procedures by adopting Ausenco Quality Assurance and Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies, procedures and requirements.
• Communicate and work with project teams in both Latin America, North America and Australia.

About you:

• Over 10 years’ experience in Mechanical, and Bulk Materials Handling design and drafting.
• Knowledge and experience with design of bulk material handling equipment and mining/ports facilities design.
• Experience in requirements for studies and detailed design projects
• Experience with Autocad, SmartPlant3D and AutoPLANT are desirable.
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in Spanish and/or English, as a plus
