Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Hydrologist Engineer, Junior to join our Earth & Environment Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.

About the role: 

• Role as a hydrologist within the Earth & Environment division, including but not limited to: development of Water Resources Master Plans, drainage projects, Dam Break Analysis (DBA) studies and models, water balance and statistical modeling, preparation of technical reports related to water resources; climate change studies, hydrological monitoring plans, mine closure studies, among others. Various fieldwork activities related to the area.

About you: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related fields (active CREA required)

• 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Experience in consultancy projects for mining ventures

• Knowledge of routine activities in the integrated water resources management area

• Proficiency in DBA and water balance software (e.g., GoldSim)

• Programming skills (e.g., Python) and knowledge of R, as well as an aptitude for innovation, will be considered assets

• Advanced English

• Spanish is a plus
