Our team in Tucson is ramping up for a detailed engineering design on a gold processing plant. We are currently recruiting for an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the Tucson or Denver office.

About the Role

• Deliver Civil (Earthworks) engineering design according to required timeframes and standards and provide high level technical expertise.
• Facilitate the purchase of appropriate equipment, contract packages and bulks by specifying requirements and assisting Procurement with the purchase of equipment
• Contribute to the cost-efficient delivery of Civil (Earthworks) engineering by managing the man hour budget and reviewing and approving Civil (Earthworks) capital cost estimates, recommending alternative approaches where possible. 
• Evaluate tenders from a technical standpoint by applying multi-disciplinary knowledge and experience
• Issue drawings and other relevant information for construction by working with Engineers and Designers

About You

• Undergraduate Degree in Civil (Earthworks) Engineering and registered as a licensed engineer in the USA
• Civil (Earthworks) design engineering experience
• Ability to resolve most technical issues in an efficient manner utilizing personal knowledge, external consultants and in-house experience.
• Knowledge of multi-discipline engineering.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D modeling and design is an asset
• Commitment to mentoring and coaching of personnel.
• Proven ability to manage, motivate and influence employees at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Well-developed written and oral skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
