Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Piping Designer – Mid-Level to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte office.
About the role:
Act as a designer specializing in Piping discipline;
Experience with mining, oil and gas, chemical, or petrochemical plant projects;
Expertise in preparing technical project documentation such as piping plans, isometrics, MTO, material lists, engineering flow diagrams, supports, calculations, and reports;
Ensure the developed documentation complies with the company’s adopted standards, procedures, and codes;
Expertise in developing projects using 3D platforms, including AutoCAD Plant 3D and Smartplant;
Strong knowledge of national and international standards such as: AWS D1.1, ABNT, ASME/ANSI B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME VIII DIV I, II, and III, API 610, API 661, API 650, API 560, NEMA 23, etc.
About you:
Completed Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
Ongoing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields;
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering development in the industrial piping field;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
Ability to work in a team and under supervision;
Strong organizational skills;
Proactive and dynamic.
