Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Planning Analyst, Senior (Construction) to join our Minerals & MetalsBusiness line in São Miguel Paulista- SP. 

We are looking for a Senior Construction Planning Analyst to work on the development, control, and analysis of construction execution schedules, integrating information from engineering, procurement, contracts, and field execution. This professional will be responsible for ensuring predictability, productivity, and planning governance, using modern methodologies and agile monitoring routines.

About the role

  • Develop, update, and control construction execution schedules (both macro and detailed levels).
  • Prepare and monitor physical S-curves, as well as performance indicators.
  • Perform productivity control, including:
    • Measurement of physical progress by work fronts;
    • Monitoring of actual vs. planned performance and productivity;
    • Performance analysis of contractors and internal teams;
    • Identification of bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage workforce on site, with periodic analysis of:
    • Team sizing;
    • Planned vs. actual workforce;
    • Impact of workforce on productivity and progress of work fronts.
  • Implement and lead agile planning and monitoring routines, such as:
    • Daily meetings with work fronts;
    • Sprints and short cycles for weekly goal reviews (weekly planning);
    • Visual management and prioritization boards;
    • Tracking of constraints, actions, and responsible parties.
  • Perform deviation analyses and propose action plans with engineering, procurement, and construction stakeholders.
  • Support contracting processes through the development of reference schedules, quantity takeoffs, and measurement criteria.
  • Develop dashboards for progress, productivity, and project status using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Contribute to the standardization of processes and best practices in planning, control, and productivity management.

About you

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, or related fields.
  • Solid experience (6–8 years) in construction planning.
  • Proficiency in planning tools:
    • Primavera P6 (strongly preferred)
    • MS Project
    • Advanced Excel
    • Power BI (preferred)
  • Knowledge of productivity control and workforce management.
  • Experience with agile methodologies applied to construction (Lean Construction, Last Planner, adapted Scrum).
  • Experience with EVM – Earned Value Management.
  • Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and collaborative work with field and project teams. 

 

Note on the nature of the contract:
This is a permanent position, initially assigned to a strategic project with an expected duration of approximately two years. While the initial assignment is directly related to this project, there is a possibility of extension or reassignment to other future initiatives, depending on company needs and the professional’s performance.
