Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Planning Technician to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte office.
About the role:
Support the control and updating of the construction physical schedule;
Collect and consolidate field information regarding the progress of activities;
Review, comment on, and organize Daily Construction Reports (DCRs) from contractors and suppliers, ensuring consistency and completeness of the information;
Assist in monitoring performance indicators (S-curve, physical progress, critical path);
Support resource planning (labor, equipment, and materials);
Participate in follow-up meetings with technical teams and contractors;
Identify deviations between planned and actual progress, reporting them to the immediate supervisor;
Contribute to the preparation of weekly and monthly management reports;
Ensure that field information complies with company standards and third-party contracts;
Comply with internal procedures related to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
About you :
Technical course in: Building Construction, mechanics, electromechanics, construction Planning and Control.
Project Reading: Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications;
Schedule Development: Create and update execution schedules and physical-financial control plans;
Planning Tools: Proficiency in software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and advanced Excel;
Resource Control: Plan and monitor the use of labor, materials, and equipment;
Deviation Analysis: Monitor progress and correct deviations in activities and deadlines;
Standards and Safety: Knowledge of technical standards and applicable safety regulations;
Experience in electromechanical assembly work for industrial plants.
