Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Process Engineer, Master to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.

About the role:

  • The engineer will be responsible for leading projects within the Mineral Processing department, ensuring the quality, consistency, and robustness of engineering information and solutions. Key responsibilities include the sizing and selection of process equipment, the definition, analysis, and optimization of mineral processing routes, as well as the interpretation of laboratory, pilot, and industrial test results.
  • In addition to serving as a technical reference for team development, the professional will also be responsible for the validation and consolidation of process data used throughout the different project phases.
  • The role requires strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and interaction with internal and external clients, ensuring proper alignment of assumptions, requirements, and discipline deliverables.
  • Previous proven experience in gold mining projects is mandatory, particularly in Study phases, Conceptual Engineering, Basic Engineering, and/or Detailed Engineering, including active participation in the development of mass balances.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, with more than 15 years of professional experience; 
  • Experience working in engineering departments focused on mineral processing projects; 
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of mineral processing unit operations, including comminution, flotation, gravity separation, leaching, thickening, filtration, among others, as well as their auxiliary systems and peripherals; 
  • Knowledge of process simulation tools such as Bruno, JKSimMet, Metsim, among others, will be considered an advantage;
  • Proactive attitude and strong communication skills;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse and multicultural teams; 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to the quality and standardization of discipline deliverables;
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to work in dynamic and deadline-driven environments; 
  • Proficient English Level; 
  • Spanish will be considered an asset.
