We have a new opportunity for an SeniorConsultant – Asset Optimisationto join our team based in Brisbane. For the right candidate, this role can also be based in Perth or Newcastle to enable our growing portfolio or opportunities in APAC as well as Middle East and North Africa.
About the role
Understand client needs, requirements and optimisation opportunities through facilitating workshops and leveraging relationships
Act as relationship manager and trusted partner to a client account to develop and grow business opportunities
Develop and grow key client relationships by identifying and collaborating with key stakeholders
Influence project scope based on an understanding of clients’ business and operational needs
Execute the delivery of complex asset management projects to required standards
Drive opportunities for improvement for new and existing clients to meet and exceed expectations
Work with leaders to determine resource requirements for each project to enable success
Manage the preparation of successful proposals, tenders, expressions of interest and presentations
Travel to client operating sites and offices in Australia and international locations across Asia, Africa and the Middle East as per project requirements
About you
Possess a Track record of success identifying, developing and growing business opportunities from mining sector clients
Proven experience in mining operations or similar environment in APAC. Middle East and North Africa experience highly regarded
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Prior experience in functions including Asset Management, Maintenance, Planning/Scheduling and Reliability Engineering would be highly regarded, in either a mining operator or consulting firm
Understanding and working knowledge of best-practice standards such as ISO55000
Experience using CMMS/ERP such as SAP, Pronto and Maximo
Strong technical knowledge to credibly articulate technical problems and influence effective solutions
Demonstrated success influencing decision making across diverse cultures from operational to leadership level
