Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in Belo Horizonte - MG office.
About the role:
• Develop conceptual, basic, and detailed layout studies and projects in 2D and 3D;
• Prepare layouts for greenfield and brownfield studies, including mining plants, pumping systems, and industrial buildings;
• Review detailed projects and assembly diagrams for boilerwork, handling, and transportation systems;
• Conduct data collection and perform site visits.
About you:
• Technical degree;
• Proven experience in industrial projects within mining (iron, gold, copper, lithium, and others);
• Strong knowledge of 3D projects and BIM methodology;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, and other design software;
• Familiarity with SmartPlant is an advantage;
• Previous experience as a mechanical designer/drafter is desirable;
• Knowledge of technical standards and applicable regulations;
• Experience in equipment sizing, simulation software (FEM), and mechanical calculations are considered strong assets;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas effectively.
