We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join us in Brisbane.

 

As part of our growth we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to support recent business growth from our Brisbane office with the ability to travel as required and a commitment to, and enthusiasm for, working in a team environment.

 

About the role

 

The role requires the senior process engineer to be a self-starter and to have the ability to work within a multidiscipline project team as well as working on your own initiative. At Ausenco you will get the opportunity to work in areas including:

 

  • Flotation and/or base metals, battery minerals or gold/copper ore processing work across feasibility studies, detailed engineering design and commissioning.
  • Commissioning and operational work in concentrators.
  • Prepare process design deliverables including reports, cost estimates and schedules.
  • Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.
  • Provide site technical support and commissioning assistance.
  • Deliver best practice technical solutions in accordance with scope, schedules and standards.

 

About you

 

  • Degree qualification in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy.
  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in comminution, base metals flotation and/or gold/copper ore and battery minerals processing.
  • Experience in delivery of Feasibility Studies, Detailed Engineering Design and EPCM projects.
  • Excellent business development skills.
  • Strong problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
