We are seeking a Project SMP Superintendent to join us, in Orange, NSW.

Join our team and be part of a major execution-phase mining project in regional New South Wales. You’ll play a key role across critical project phases including detailed engineering, construction and delivery, gaining hands-on experience across a large-scale operation. About the role

• Provide construction input into planning processes prior to site mobilisation.
• Effectively manage onsite SMP construction activities to ensure safe, on-time and on-budget project delivery aligned to Ausenco objectives.
• Ensure site activities are executed in accordance with approved project plans and schedules.
• Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety and delivery outcomes.
• Support the Construction Manager and lead an onsite team of supervisors and technical personnel.
• Coordinate and manage construction works in line with project timelines and sequencing.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with client representatives and stakeholders.

About you

• Degree qualified in Engineering or a relevant trade background.
• Strong understanding of construction contracting, including commercial aspects, variations and change management.
• 15+ years’ experience in EPCM/EPC environments, including contractor and field supervision.
• Proven experience working on mining and/or process plant projects.
• Extensive construction experience with a strong understanding of all project phases.
• Willingness to work in a regional project environment (Orange, NSW) on a rostered basis.
• Strong problem-solving capability and leadership skills.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to support and drive subcontractor performance.
