Our team in the US is growing. We are currently recruiting for a  Structural Designer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the Tucson or Denver offices. This is your opportunity to be part of an exciting execution-phase project in the North American mining industry. You'll play a key role in critical project phases, from Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering to Construction, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of commodities. About the Role

• Work within a multidisciplinary project team of designers and ensure interdisciplinary co-ordination when developing the models
• Develop structural models in a 3D environment using SmartPlant
• Prepare structural and concrete layout detail designs and drawings in line with project design requirements for various areas of a concentrator facility (specifically tailings thickener and filtration plants)

About You

• Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology (structural or architectural) from a recognized college.
• Experience in structural steel and concrete modeling, design and drafting.
• Proficiency in 2D drafting, Smart Plant 3D modeling or other 3D modeling software is a must. 
• Experience using S3D is required 
• Well-developed written and oral skills
• Understanding of industry regulatory codes and standards
• Site experience and shop detailing is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is a must
