Study/Project Manager – Denver

Our team in Denver is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Study/Project Manager to join our Pipelines Business line in the Denver office.

 About the role:

  • Manage the timely and efficient coordination and delivery of multiple, concurrent studies (scoping, PFS or FS) through to basic and detailed engineering projects varying in size and complexity in locations across North America and abroad. 
  • Manage the client relationship on all assigned studies/projects
  • Where required, perform the role of project engineer to coordinate and integrate the various engineering disciplines.
  • Maintain a consistently high quality of output by planning, coordinating, managing resources, technical quality, and study/project progress.
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise needed to achieve quality outcomes while ensuring client’s needs are always met. 
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Studies process to deliver best practice solutions through the application of knowledge of industry developments and experience of past trends or different situations.
  • Communicate with client and professional colleagues
  • Report internally and externally on study/project status
  • Formulate effective business cases through bringing together technical knowledge and commercial concepts
  • Support the conversion of studies into execution projects
  • Lead the generation of proposals for new studies/projects.

About You

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Preferably registered, or eligible to be registered, as a professional engineer
  • At least 10 years experience in a Study Manager or Project Manager role within the Consulting Engineering industry in the Mining, Oil & Gas, and/or Infrastructure industry.
  • Experience in long-distance pipeline projects
  • An understanding of the operation of a multidiscipline engineering and construction company.
  • Extensive experience in the development and delivery of studies and projects
  • A proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously or a single project of major size and scope. 
  • Experience in planning, budgeting and reporting
  • Excellent written technical and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, client relationship and management skills
  • Site experience is a plus
  • Spanish is a plus
