          The Opportunity

          We are seeking an a proactive and solutions-focused HR Advisor to join the Ausenco Team in Perth. This is a true partnership role where you will move beyond compliance to help shape a high performing culture. Reporting to the Senior Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor across the employee lifecycle, partnering with leaders to drive engagement and performance.

You will have the autonomy to manage your own client group in Perth while enjoying the backing of a supportive senior business partner and broader national team that prioritises knowledge sharing, mentorship and professional development.

          How you will make an impact:

          • Trusted Advice: Coach and advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, and the interpretation of employment legislation, Awards and company policies.
          • Culture and Engagement: Assist with the development and/or delivery of engagement surveys, cultural initiatives, and diversity and inclusion workshops.
          • Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate people data and provide meaningful reporting insights to support business decision-making.
          • Talent Development: Support the execution of talent programs, onboarding and employee and leader development programs.
          • Strategic Initiatives and Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the design and delivery of key People initiatives and national projects that enhance our systems, processes and the overall employee experience.  

           

          About You

          We are looking for someone who can build relationships easy and navigate the grey areas of HR with confidence.

          • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
          • Experience: As least 3 years experience in a HR Generalist or Advisor role, preferably in the Engineering Services industry
          • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of Australian Employment Law (Fair Work Act, NES) and experience managing  investigations and performance issues.
          • Soft Skills:
            • Resilient, collaborative and have the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
            • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
          • Proficiency in HR systems and reporting tools.
