Designer Creative Specialist ( Marketing )

About the role

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop design briefs, gather input, and translate business/brand objectives into visual ideas.
  • Lead ideation sessions; propose creative concepts and visual strategies that solve communication challenges and align with brand voice and guidelines.
  • Understand audience, campaign objectives and stakeholder goals and align graphic concepts accordingly.
  • Design layouts for a variety of outputs: digital banners, social media posts, email campaigns, print collateral, signage and presentations.
  • Edit video content and produce short-form video assets, including trimming, sequencing, adding graphics/titles, colour correction, and sound mixing.
  • Create motion graphics/animation for digital use (e.g., social animations, gifs, motion infographics, lower thirds) using tools such as After Effects or equivalent.
  • Ensure design consistency across touchpoints—adhering to brand guidelines, visual standards and production specifications. 
  • Develop and maintain reusable design templates and systems to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; prepare files for hand-off to print, vendors, or web developers.
  • Present work and articulate creative rationale to stakeholders; incorporate feedback effectively and iterate with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Keep current with design, layout, video and motion-graphics trends; suggest new techniques and tools to strengthen the creative output
 
 

About you

  • 3+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio in layout, video editing, and motion graphics.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite plus Premiere Pro/After Effects; solid understanding of typography, colour, and composition.
  • Knowledge of animation basics; bonus skills in expressions, 3D, audio editing, or colour grading.
  • Strong communication, ability to take feedback, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing needs.
  • Experience creating brand/campaign assets, social-media formats, and collaborating with developers or production teams.

Salary range: $62,000 - $82,000 

Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
