We are seeking a Project E&I Superintendent to join us, in Orange, NSW.

Join our team and play a key role on a major execution-phase mining project in regional New South Wales. You’ll lead the Electrical & Instrumentation scope across construction and delivery phases, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality execution. This is a critical leadership role offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact within a dynamic, fast-paced project environment.

 

About the role

  • Effectively manage onsite Electrical & Instrumentation construction activities to ensure delivery is safe, on time and in line with project budget and Ausenco objectives.
  • Provide leadership, direction and coordination of E&I supervisors, contractors and technical support personnel.
  • Ensure all works are executed in accordance with project plans, drawings, specifications and schedules.
  • Monitor and manage scope, schedule and cost performance, including identification and management of changes and trends.
  • Support construction planning and sequencing to ensure resources are aligned with project requirements.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with client representatives and key stakeholders.
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all site and regulatory requirements.
  • Travel and work onsite in Orange, NSW on a rostered basis.

 

About you

  • Electrical Engineering degree or relevant trade/technical qualification.
  • Proven experience in a Superintendent or senior supervisory role within EPCM/EPC project environments.
  • Extensive experience delivering Electrical & Instrumentation scopes on mining or process plant projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction execution, including planning, scheduling, cost control and contractor management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing scope changes and driving delivery performance.
  • Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A commitment to safety with a track record of promoting and maintaining a Zero Harm environment.
