Based in Perth, our specialist pipeline team delivers innovative overland and tailings pipeline projects across Australia and internationally. With a strong pipeline of work ahead, we’re looking for a talented Pipeline Designer to help shape the future of mining infrastructure.

About the role

• Develop pipeline alignments and layouts for a variety of pipeline projects, typically within the mining industry.
• Prepare detailed design and drafting deliverables using industry-standard tools and GIS systems
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines
• Ensure design accuracy and consistency with project standards, survey or other GIS data, and client expectations

About you

• Ability to work within a 3D environment, across several office design project setups on server/s or cloud/SharePoint.
• Exposure to map projections
• Ability to problem solve and contribute to projects to improve efficiency, to exceed client expectation
• Experience in pipeline or piping design, including layout development
• Proficient in 12D and AutoCAD Civil 3D (or similar design software)
• Technical Design degree or equivalent qualification
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Previous experience in mining, gas or heavy industry projects is highly desirable
• Work well in a team environment.
